A Conversation About: Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mental Health

Episode #67: Clinical Hypnotherapy and Mental Health

In this episode, The X-Team explains what clinical hypnotherapy is and what it is not. They discuss the similarities and differences between mindfulness-based therapy, mindfulness, meditation, and clinical hypnotherapy. Special guest Darlene Cole, a Certified Clinical RTT Hypnotherapist based in Summerville, SC, joins the discussion to help us understand the nuances of her profession.

With her guidance, the team discusses how to determine when a client needs clinical mental health counseling rather than clinical hypnotherapy. Darlene also explains what clinical hypnosis is, what it means, how clients benefit from it, and what makes it different from clinical mental health counseling and therapy.
