LPC-A Group Clinical Supervision

LPC-A Group Clinical Supervision

This group is for Licensed Professional Counselor-Associates (LPC-A).

Group supervision is a supplement to individual supervision that helps LPC-As develop clinical skills as they move along their supervision journey.

This is a structured and fun experience where LPC-As learn and grow in clinical practice.

It offers group clinical supervision by one clinical supervisor to 3 or more supervisees at a time for 4 hours per group session.

The 4-hour sessions consist of at least three presentations and a discussion of administrative or other clinical and/or ethical concerns presented by group members.

Case presentations examine counseling techniques, implementation of theory, and counselor formation.

A rotation for case presentations is managed as the group starts.

The clinical supervisor facilitates discussion between group members about the cases being presented and their clinical issues so that each member can get a diversity of clinical perspectives.

Starting Saturday, July 26, 2025

4th Saturday of every month from 1:00 pm - 5 pm

820 Central Avenue, Suite C-6, Summerville, SC 29483

LPCA Triadic (DYAD) Clinical Supervision

Starting July 8, 2025

Second Tuesday of every month from 7 - 9 pm

820 Central Avenue, Suite C-6, Summerville, SC 29483

$55.00 an hour per person

This group is for Licensed Professional Counselor-Associates (LPC-A)

Triadic (DYAD) supervision consists of two supervisees and one supervisor.

These sessions are two hours in length, with the first hour focusing on a case presentation and the second hour focusing on a discussion of administrative, ethical, or other clinical questions.

Case presentations will examine counseling techniques, theory implementation, and counselor formation.

Supervisees learn about different perspectives from others’ case presentations.

The triadic format also helps to reduce the cost of supervision.
